Smoothing

Smoothing controls how gradually aiming movement transitions toward the selected target. It does not pick the target. That is the targeting preset.

Use it with the aim key so you can see the transition while the key is held.

Gradual aim and adaptive speed

Gradual Aim is a progressive transition where that mode is supported. It is listed separately from Smoothing because it is a separate control.

Adaptive Speed adjusts aiming speed according to supported conditions. It is not a second name for smoothing.

Delays next to smoothing

Start Delay waits before aiming begins. Switch Delay waits when the target changes. Those waits are independent of the smoothing amount.
